Fansly Management Sessions are Fansly's own way for a creator to let an assistant, manager or agency into their account without handing over the password. They work well for one helper on one creator. Here's how to create one, what it can and cannot do, and how it compares with running Fansly creators in OFManager when you have a team.
What Is Session Management on Fansly?
Session management on Fansly can mean two things. The one that lets someone else work on the account is Management Sessions. The creator makes a link from their own account, picks what the person holding it may do, and sends it. The manager opens the link and is signed in with those permissions, without ever seeing the password.
Fansly recommends this route itself. Its Creator Security FAQ tells creators who work with an agency, assistant or manager to use Management Sessions and to turn on two-factor authentication (2FA).
The other is Fansly's Session Management page, which shows the sessions on the account. Fansly tells creators to check it regularly and close any session they do not recognize.
One link, one use
Each link is single-use and carries the permissions the creator picked.
Access set per session
Every session gets its own access level, so two managers can do different things.
Payouts always locked
Payouts and account closure are restricted in every session, whatever level is picked.
How to Create a Fansly Management Session
These are Fansly's steps, done by the creator in their own Fansly account. Send them to a creator who asks how to give you access.
Open Creator Dashboard > Management
The creator signs in to Fansly as usual and opens the Management page from the Creator Dashboard.
Click Create Session
This starts a new session link, meant for one person.
Name the session
Use a name that says who it is for, such as the agency or the assistant, so it is easy to find and remove later.
Choose the access level
Pick what this person may do. Fansly shows a range of options, but payouts and account closure are always restricted, whatever you pick.
Review the disclaimer and click Create
The link is ready to send. Each link carries the permissions of its own session, so two managers can get different access.
How the manager signs in: the creator sends the link directly, and the manager pastes it into a browser or clicks it. To save time, Fansly lets the creator create several links at once and hand them out as needed.
What Happens After You Share a Management Session Link
A logout ends it
Each link is single-use. If the manager logs out or the link expires, they need a new session link from the creator to get back in.
How long a link lasts is not published
Fansly says a link can expire but does not say after how long, so expect to send a fresh link now and then.
Editing needs the creator's 2FA code
To change permissions, the creator opens the Management page, clicks the pencil icon and enters their 2FA code.
Revoke with the trash icon
The creator clicks the trash can icon next to the session and confirms Yes to revoke access.
No published list of permissions
Fansly's help article does not list every permission. The creator sees the options while creating the session.

Where Management Sessions Get Hard for an Agency
For one assistant on one creator, the steps above are all you need. The friction shows up as the agency grows.

Fansly Management Sessions vs OFManager
OFManager takes a different route. The creator's Fansly account is linked to your agency once, in the OFManager desktop app for Windows and macOS, and your team opens 16 of Fansly's own pages inside the app, from Messages and Media Vault to Earning Statistics. Here is how the two compare, including where OFManager falls short today.
| Topic | Management Sessions | OFManager |
|---|---|---|
| How the team gets in | A single-use link the creator makes for each person | The creator's Fansly login is entered once, when the creator is linked to your agency |
| The password | Never leaves the creator | Stored encrypted on OFManager's servers and never shown again. Your team never sees it |
| After a logout or expired login | The creator has to make a new session link | Relink tries the saved password first and asks for a new one only if that fails |
| Who sets permissions | The creator, per session. Edits need the creator's 2FA code | Your agency's roles. Each Fansly page follows the matching OnlyFans page permission |
| Who can work on a creator | Anyone the creator sends a link to, one creator per link | The agency owner and staff with full creator access. One chatter on just one Fansly creator is not available yet |
| Always blocked | Sensitive areas such as payouts and account closure | Signing the creator out, login, password, email, username and 2FA changes, disabling the account, management sessions, payouts and payout methods, refunds, and spending the creator's wallet |
| Where the work happens | Each manager's own browser | The desktop app for Windows and macOS. Calls that act as the creator are made by OFManager's servers, not the chatter's computer, and Fansly's device-ID cookies are stripped |
| Many creators | A Management page and a set of links for every creator | Every Fansly creator on Manage Creators, next to your OnlyFans creators |
| OnlyFans | Not covered | Both platforms in one app, switched from the avatar menu at the top left |
| Known limits | No published permission list, and no stated link lifetime | Images load, videos do not play yet. OFManager's CRM, mass messaging and analytics cover OnlyFans only for now |
For everything nobody on your team can do, and where the login is kept, see how to share a Fansly account without the password. For the full picture of the app, see Fansly agency software in OFManager.
Fansly facts on this page come from the Management Sessions and Creator Security FAQ articles in Fansly's help center. OFManager is not affiliated with Fansly or OnlyFans.
Why OFManager Blocks Management Sessions in the App
Creator Dashboard is one of the 16 Fansly pages your team can open in OFManager, but creating a management session is blocked for everyone, the agency owner included. Fansly's session list is blocked too.
The reason is simple: a management session is a login that works outside OFManager. Anyone holding the link could open the creator's account in an ordinary browser, on their own computer, with none of OFManager's blocks in the way. Keeping session links out of the app means nobody can use OFManager to make a login that gets around the blocks on sign-outs, login changes and wallet spending. Anything Fansly's own page does not do is refused and logged, and the page shows "Not available in OFManager".
This covers the app only. The creator can still create Management Sessions on Fansly directly, and anyone using those links works outside OFManager. OFManager does not show or delete them, so the creator manages them on Fansly's Management page.
When Are Fansly Management Sessions Enough?
Neither option is right for every agency. Find your situation below.
| Your situation | Better fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| One assistant helping one creator | Management Sessions | A link with the right access level is quick to set up, and there is nothing to install. |
| The creator wants the password to stay with them alone | Management Sessions | OFManager stores the password, encrypted, on its servers. A management session never needs it. |
| One chatter should reach only one Fansly creator | Management Sessions, for now | In OFManager, Fansly creators are open to the owner and staff with full creator access. Per-creator access is not available yet. |
| Several creators and a team you trust with all of them | OFManager | Each creator is linked once and opened from one app, with no link to resend after every logout. For now, everyone working on Fansly needs full creator access. |
| Your agency also runs OnlyFans creators | OFManager | OnlyFans and Fansly creators sit on one Manage Creators list, with a platform switch at the top left. |
| Staff join and leave often | OFManager | Access follows each person's role in your agency, and the password is never shown to anyone once it is saved. |
| You want OFManager's CRM, mass messaging or chatter analytics on Fansly | Not available yet | OFManager's own tools cover OnlyFans only for now. On Fansly, your team works in Fansly's own pages, such as Messages and Earning Statistics. |
Moving a Creator From Management Sessions to OFManager
Get the desktop app
Fansly is in the OFManager desktop app for Windows and macOS. Install it, or update the one you have.
Link the creator once
In Manage Creators, click Add Creator, choose Fansly under Which platform?, and sign in with the creator's Username or email and Password. Then enter the code Fansly emails to the creator, or the one in the creator's authenticator app. Every step is in the guide to add a Fansly account.
Check who can open it
The agency owner and staff with full creator access open Fansly creators, and each Fansly page follows the OnlyFans page permission you already set. Once several creators are linked, here's how to manage multiple Fansly accounts day to day.
Delete the old sessions on Fansly
Have the creator open the Management page on Fansly and remove each session your team used, with the trash can icon, so none of those links still works outside OFManager.
From then on, someone on your team signing out of OFManager does not cost the creator a new link. If a creator's Fansly login expires, Manage Creators shows it, and Relink tries the saved password first (Fansly may still ask the creator for a code).
Fansly is in the OFManager desktop app for Windows and macOS. Link each creator once and stop resending session links.
