Fansly sends its sign-in code to the creator, by email or in their authenticator app. So when you link a creator in OFManager, the code goes to the creator, not to OFManager. When it doesn't arrive or gets rejected, the cause is usually the spam folder, an older code, an expired code or a phone clock that has drifted. Here is how to fix each one, and what the messages in OFManager's Fansly sign-in mean.
The Short Version
How Fansly 2FA Works: Email Codes and Authenticator Apps
Fansly's help center article Securing Account With 2FA covers two ways a code reaches the creator. Which one you get depends on how the creator set up their account, and OFManager tells you which one Fansly used.
Emailed Code
Authenticator App
Fansly also warns never to share the QR code from setup. Anyone who scans it can make the creator's codes.
Fansly 2FA Code Not Sending? Five Fixes to Try in Order
Work down this list with the creator. The first fixes are the quickest to check.
Check Spam and Junk
Start with the creator's inbox.
Ask the creator to look in their spam or junk folder. Fansly suggests adding its support address to contacts or safe senders, and checking that the email in Account Settings is the right one. If the account still has an old address, that is where the code goes.
Wait, Then Request One New Code
Not five in a row.
Give the email a moment. If nothing comes, request a single new code. Every new request cancels the codes before it, so asking again and again leaves the creator with a pile of emails where only the last one works.
In OFManager you get a new code by clicking Back and signing in again.
Use the Newest Code
Older codes stop working.
If the creator has several Fansly emails, they should read the code from the newest one. An older code is rejected even when it is typed perfectly, and Fansly's codes expire quickly, so type it in while it is fresh.
Ask the Creator for the Code
It goes to them, not you.
Fansly sends the code to the creator's email or shows it in their authenticator app, not to OFManager. Message the creator before you click Sign in so they can read the code back while the timer runs. If they are with you, they can type it in themselves.
Sync the Phone's Clock
For authenticator app codes.
If every authenticator code is rejected, check the phone's clock. Fansly says to set the device's date and time to update automatically, because a clock that is off makes codes that don't match. Turn that on in the phone's date and time settings, wait for the app to show a new code and use that one.
Fansly Verification Code Not Working? Match the Symptom
| What you see | What it usually means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No email arrives at all | It went to spam or junk, or the account has a different email address | Check spam and junk, then confirm the address in Account Settings |
| A code is rejected right after you asked for another one | It is an older code. Only the most recent one works | Use the code from the newest Fansly email |
| Every authenticator code is rejected | The phone's date and time are out of sync | Set date and time to update automatically, then use the next code |
| A code that was fine a few minutes ago is rejected | The code expired | Get a new code. In OFManager, click Back and sign in again |
| The creator lost the phone with the authenticator app | The app can't make codes anymore | Fansly says a saved backup code can get them back in. Without one, the creator emails Fansly support for an identity check |
| The creator can't get into their email | Emailed codes can't reach them | The creator contacts Fansly support for account recovery |
The Fansly Code When You Link a Creator in OFManager
When you add a Fansly account to OFManager, you sign in once with the creator's login and then enter Fansly's code. The sign-in comes from OFManager's servers, a new place for that account, and in OFManager's testing Fansly asked for a code on every sign-in like that. So plan on the code step every time you link.
In Manage Creators, click Add Creator. Under Which platform?, choose Fansly.
In Link a Fansly creator, enter the Username or email and Password, then click Sign in. You see Signing in to Fansly… while it works.
The code step says where the code went: Fansly emailed a code to the creator. or Enter the code from the creator's authenticator app.
Type it in Code and click Verify. When it works you see Linked to your agency. Click Done, or Link another for the next creator.
A 15-minute countdown
The code step shows how long this sign-in waits for a code. Fansly says its emailed codes expire quickly, so don't treat it as spare time.
Back starts again
Back returns you to the sign-in step with the username kept. Enter the password and sign in again for a new code.
Password never shown again
Once the creator is linked, the password is stored encrypted on OFManager's servers and your team never sees it.
Before You Blame the Code
Why Fansly Asks for a Code Again When You Relink
A Fansly login can expire. The creator's pages then show a line such as Mia's Fansly login has expired. Relink it to open their pages again. Manage Creators also offers Re-link Account on their row.
Relink tries the saved password first, so you see Signing in again with the saved password… and nobody has to ask the creator for it. That is still a fresh sign-in, so Fansly can ask for a code again, and you get the same code step and countdown. If Fansly refuses the saved password, for example because the creator changed it, you see Fansly didn't accept that username or password. and the relink asks for the creator's current Fansly password, with the username already filled in. If the relink doesn't go through for another reason, you see Fansly didn't sign this creator in again. Click Try again, or Use a password to sign in with the creator's current Fansly password.

Fansly Sign-In Errors in OFManager and What They Mean
These are the lines you are most likely to see while OFManager signs a creator in to Fansly, word for word.
Fansly didn't accept that username or password.
Fansly turned down the username or password.
Check the username or email for typos and ask the creator for their current password.
That code didn't work. Check it and try again.
Fansly rejected the code. You stay on the code step, so the countdown keeps running.
Ask the creator for the newest code. For an authenticator app, check the phone's clock first.
The code expired. Sign in again.
The code ran out of time before it was verified.
Sign in again. That starts a new code, and only the new one will work.
Fansly is busy. Try again in a minute.
The connection to Fansly isn't answering right now, or Fansly is turning requests away for a moment.
Wait a minute, then sign in once more.
Fansly didn't finish the sign-in. Try again.
The sign-in stopped without a clear answer from Fansly.
Sign in again. If it keeps happening, wait a few minutes first.
Fansly is limiting sign-ins for this creator. Try again in N minutes.
Fansly has paused sign-ins for this account for a while. N is the wait it gives.
Wait the minutes shown, then try once. Line up the creator first so the code is used straight away.

Too many Fansly codes entered. Try again in N minutes.
Many codes were entered in a short while, so OFManager pauses code checks for a few minutes.
Check the newest code with the creator, and wait the minutes shown before you enter it.
This Fansly page is linked elsewhere (another agency or BetterFans Link).
The creator's Fansly page is already linked somewhere else, and it can only be linked in one place.
Ask the creator where it is linked. It can't join your agency while it is linked there.
Only the owner or staff with full creator access can link Fansly creators.
Your role can't link Fansly creators.
Ask the agency owner to link the creator, or to give you full creator access.
Fansly didn't sign this creator in again.
The relink with the saved password didn't go through, for example after too many tries in a row. The line under it gives the reason.
Click Try again, or Use a password and enter the creator's current Fansly password.
Lost Access to the Fansly Authenticator App?
If the creator's phone was lost, reset or replaced and the authenticator app went with it, the app can't make codes anymore, and nothing in OFManager gets around that. Fansly's re-enable guide says saved backup codes can get the creator back in. Without them, the fix runs through Fansly support:
Locked out of the email account entirely? Fansly says to contact support for help with account recovery.
2FA Stays With the Creator
Inside every Fansly page in OFManager, changing 2FA, the password, email or username is blocked for everyone, the owner included. So 2FA is always fixed in the creator's own Fansly account. It is part of how OFManager lets you share a Fansly account without the password.
Treat Codes Like Passwords
Fansly's Management Sessions article says Fansly Support never asks for a 2FA code or a password. The creator should give a code only to the person linking or relinking them in OFManager, at that moment. A request for a code at any other time is a red flag. Read more in Fansly Management Sessions.
Fansly is in the OFManager desktop app for Windows and macOS. Link a creator once, enter Fansly's code, and your team works on their Fansly pages without the password.
